Website design

Website design for SaaS and AI companies

The homepage is where a technology company's positioning problem becomes visible to everyone. If a visitor cannot say what you do sixty seconds after landing, no amount of animation is going to fix it. We design and build websites for SaaS and AI companies where the job is comprehension first and conversion second, because the second does not happen without the first.

Architecture before aesthetics

We start with the sitemap and the argument, not the visual design. Which pages need to exist, what question each one answers, and in what order a real buyer needs those answers. For most technology companies this surfaces the same problem: one page is trying to serve four audiences: the technical evaluator, the economic buyer, the developer and the candidate, and it serves none of them well.

Getting the architecture right is also the single biggest lever on organic search. A company with one page can rank for one thing. A company with a page per capability, per use case and per audience has a chance at the long tail of high-intent queries that actually convert.

Copy direction included

We do not design around placeholder text and hope the words arrive later. Copy direction is part of the engagement: the headline hierarchy, the proof points, the order of the argument. Where you have a strong internal writer we direct and edit; where you do not, we write it.

Built, not just designed

We build in Next.js and ship on Vercel, or we hand off to your engineering team with components and tokens that match what they already use. Either way the site is fast, server-rendered so search engines and language models can read the content, responsive without excuses on mobile, and accessible to WCAG AA.

Technical SEO is part of the build rather than a retrofit: clean semantic structure, real metadata, Open Graph images, structured data, a sitemap and a robots policy that welcomes AI crawlers as well as Googlebot. A growing share of B2B software buyers now start their research in a language model, and a site those systems cannot read is invisible to them.

Common questions

Do you build the site or just design it?
Both are available. We build in Next.js and deploy on Vercel, or we deliver design files, components and tokens for your engineering team to implement.
Can you work in Webflow or Framer?
Yes, and for some teams it is the right answer: a marketing site the team can edit without a deploy has real value. We will tell you honestly which fits your situation rather than defaulting to whichever we prefer.
Will a new site hurt our search rankings?
Not if it is handled properly. We map every existing URL, put permanent redirects in place, preserve the pages that already earn traffic, and monitor Search Console after launch.
How long does a SaaS website take?
Eight to twelve weeks from kickoff to launch for a typical marketing site, assuming content decisions are not blocked internally.
